To many Artie and his wife Cilla Fisher are known as Mr and Mrs Kettle. Here are the highlights of a career that entertained a whole generation of children and their families..

 

From 1982 until 2015, The Singing Kettle were a phenomenon in the world of children's entertainment.  Over the years they played to five million children and adults in venues across the world (including the London Palladium) and producing ten television series for the BBC and ITV network.  As well as their BAFTA award-winning television shows, their stage shows broke box office records in multiple venues, and Artie, alongside his fellow Kettle-rs Cilla Fisher and Gary Coupland were awareded MBEs in 1999 for their services to children's theatre.
